What To Expect
Step 1 - Find & Purchase Your Car
We search for your desired car through Japanese auctions, dealerships, or exporters. Ensure the vehicle meets Australian import regulations before purchasing.
Step 2 - Arrange Import Approval
Apply for an Import Approval from the Department of Infrastructure under the appropriate import scheme.
Step 3 - Shipping & Customs Clearance
Choose a shipping method (RoRo or container) and arrange transport to Sydney. Once the car arrives, it must pass Australian Border Force (ABF) clearance, including duty and GST payments.
Step 4 - Compliance & Modifications
Your car must be inspected and modified (if necessary) by a Registered Automotive Workshop (RAW) to meet Australian Design Rules (ADR) and road safety standards.
Step 5 - Registration & Roadworthy Certification
After compliance approval, we register your car with Service NSW, obtain a roadworthy certificate and get your new plates! You're ready to hit the road!
